Ryan Benker

Founder, Blueprint Residential

Ryan spent 12 years building his career at the intersection of real estate and finance, starting in property tax auditing, moving into real estate accounting, and eventually serving as Director of Acquisitions at RENU Management, where he oversaw more than $1 billion in single-family rental acquisitions.


That background means one thing for you: every decision Blueprint makes is run through a financial lens. Vacancy costs, maintenance ROI, net owner income; Ryan tracks it all so your property performs like an investment, not a headache.

Ryan moved to East Tennessee in 2020 and has called Knoxville home since 2021, and his family has roots in Knoxville, Maryville, and Lenoir City.


Outside of work, he spends his time with his two boys, Julian and Wolfe, hiking to waterfalls in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Brandon Benker

Founder, Blueprint Residential

When you work with Blueprint, Brandon is your operations guy.


After 11 years managing properties at every level, from leasing coordinator to Director of Operations, he's seen exactly what separates a well-run property from a problem one. His experience managing portfolios for institutional clients like Invitation Homes, Fortress, and Pagaya taught him what large-scale management consistently gets wrong.


Blueprint is his answer to that. Fewer properties. More attention. An operator who actually picks up the phone.


Brandon has lived in Knoxville since 2016 and knows this market well. Outside of work, he's deeply committed to local animal welfare. Since 2021, he's logged over 500 volunteer hours with Young Williams Animal Center, Pets for Life, and Chainfree Knoxville.
